It is with great enthusiasm that I endorse the re election of Scott Lingamfelter for the Virginia House of Delegates. Scott has proven to be a watchdog for the tax payers of Virginia. Delegate Lingamfelter has had a very successful two years in the General Assembly. Scott had a bill that became law that allowed educators with suggestions to improve the Standards of Learning the ability to submit their ideas via a web site. He also was an advocate for open government by requiring all bodies subject to the Freedom of Information Act to post minutes on the internet. He also had a bill which modified the conditions for denial of driver’s license for truancy. He also has a bill which would require an outside audit of the entire state government. The laws and proposed laws listed above are common sense proposals which will be well received by the people in Prince William and Fauquier Counties.
