It has been an honor for me to join with Scott Lingamfelter in representing Prince William County in the House of Delegates. He understands the importance of good public policy, has a devoted focus on what is good for our families, and has never forgotten where he came from. As long as Scott Lingamfelter is on the job, 31st District families will be served. —Delegate Michele Mcquigg, 51st House District |

I am please to stand in support of Delegate Lingamefelter, and I encourage the people of the 31st district to re-elect him to the House of Delegates this November."—Lieutenant Governor Bill Bolling |

Scott Lingamfelter is my kind of leader. He is a true, common
sense conservative in step with the 31st District. The hard-working
families of Prince William and Fauquier counties can be sure
that with Scott representing them in Richmond, taxes and spending
will be controlled, public safety enhanced, and their freedoms
protected. I strongly endorse him for re-election. We need
to keep Scott in the House of Delegates working for us."—Senator

| Delegate
Scott Lingamfelter has my strong endorsement for re-election
to the Virginia House of Delegates. Scott has a record of proven
conservative leadership. He has worked diligently to keep the
tax burden low for families and our streets safe from crime.
He has also ensured that our children receive a top rated education
by not only properly funding our public schools at a record
level but by also demanding accountability and standards in
the classroom. We need to keep Scott working for us in the General
Assembly. —Congresswoman Jo Ann Davis, VA-1 |

“In
his first term in Richmond, Delegate Scott Lingamfelter has
shown that he has earned the confidence of the people of Prince
William and Fauquier counties. A principled conservative who
understands the need to keep taxes low and spending under
control, Scott will protect the voters of the 31st District
from run-away government. In public safety, Scott has been
a full partner with me. His efforts to advance our commitment
to open government have been truly impressive. I endorse him
enthusiastically and ask you to send him back to Richmond.”—Virginia
Attorney General Jerry Kilgore, June 5th, 2003 |

“Scott
Lingamfelter is an extremely energetic legislator. We especially
value the managerial and administrative skills and attitudes
he honed during his military service. His zeal for representing
the best interests of his constituents in his freshman term
in the House of Delegates served them exceptionally well.
Scott has a bright future ahead of him in legislature, and
I am confident the voters will recognize that in overwhelming
numbers.” – Speaker of the House Bill
Howell, June 4th, 2003. |

“State
Delegate Scott Lingamfelter has been a true friend of the
taxpayer. I am proud to say that Scott and I are on the same
team when it comes to representing Northern Virginia’s
interests as we work to improve everyone’s quality of
life. He has my full endorsement.”—U.S.

It
is with great enthusiasm that I endorse the re election of
Scott Lingamfelter for the Virginia House of Delegates. Scott
has proven to be a watchdog for the tax payers of Virginia.
He strongly supported the continuing phase out of the car
tax and has taken a pledge not to raise taxes on Virginians.
Delegate
Lingamfelter has had a very successful two years in the General
Assembly. Scott had a bill that became law that allowed educators
with suggestions to improve the Standards of Learning the
ability to submit their ideas via a web site. He also was
an advocate for open government by requiring all bodies subject
to the Freedom of Information Act to post minutes on the internet.
He also had a bill which modified the conditions for denial
of driver’s license for truancy. He also has a bill
which would require an outside audit of the entire state government.
The laws and proposed laws listed above are common sense proposals
which will be well received by the people in Prince William
and Fauquier Counties.
The election
of delegates to the General Assembly is a matter for the people
of each of our 100 districts, so I do not make recommendations
or endorsements lightly. In the 31st district, Delegate Scott
Lingamfelter deserves re-election. His re-election message
says it all – promises made, promises kept.
Delegate
Lingamfelter has been bold in his leadership and representation
for the people of Fauquier and Prince William Counties. He
has also been effective. Scott’s record is a mainstream
conservative record. He’s worked to improve education
while holding down taxes, and has been an innovator and problem
solver. He brings people together. He’s effective. And
he keeps his word. His integrity is unquestioned. I endorse
Delegate Lingamfelter without reservation. —Governor

“Scott
Lingamfelter is one of the most valued members of the House
Cost-cutting Caucus. As past Chairman of this effort to find
savings for Virginia's taxpayers, I can attest first-hand
to Scott's keen sense of fiscal conservatism. Bright and engaging,
Scott understands how to make government do more at less cost
to hard working families. That's why I supported him--as a
freshman--to assume the role of Vice Chair of the Caucus this
year. We need him back in Richmond to complete this important
work.” —Allen Louderback, June 12, 2003. |

"Scott
Lingamfelter, an active sportsman, understands and appreciates
Virginians' outdoors heritage, including that of hunting,
fishing and animal ownership. We need Scott's continued and
demonstrated strong leadership and advocacy in Richmond."
